New Kids on the Block
Hailing from Boston, Jonathan Knight, Jordan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood made up the group of New Kids on the Block. Their first album debuted in 1986, though it ended up being a flop. Yet, by a stroke of luck after a Florida radio station played one of their new singles, they rose to popularity. By 1990, the group was killing it, with their third album selling close to 20 million copies. Their success eventually dwindled and after Jonathan Knight left the group in 1994, the band officially broke up. The group reunited in 2008 to record new music, and then went on a reunion tour. They later went on tour with Backstreet Boys in the ultimate boy band collaboration.
