98 Degrees
98 Degrees (Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey Justin Jeffre, Jeff Timmons) performed at various auditions to gain notoriety in the music industry. They were eventually signed to Motown Records, which they believed differentiated them from the other boy bands whose genres were primary pop. It wasn't until their second album, 98 Degrees and Rising, that they went platinum in 1998. During their career, they performed alongside Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Jackson. They took a hiatus for the better part of a decade, but reunited to go on tour with Boyz II Men and New Kids on the Block.
